Writing, editing, publishing… it’s complicated! While my writing commissions and editing commissions are the bulk of my orders, I like to offer additional a la carte services or special add-ons for your convenience and project customization.

Whether you are looking for writing advice or want to schedule a call, I have available one-time or add-on services here to help.

  • Do you want a quick answer to a burning question? Do you have a sentence you are stuck on and want a second opinion on? From grammar and punctuation to the ins and outs of how to prepare your story for publication… get the answer you need right away!

    My Writing Advice service is here to help you with whatever writing, editing, or publishing question you may have.

    This is a single writing advice question and answer. The paying client may ask one question and receive one answer, tips, and resources (up to 500 words or less) about writing, editing, or publishing.

    You can order one or multiple at once, depending on how many questions you have.

  • Are you writing a story where your character is injured, has a disease, or you have a fantasy-situation but need to know how medicine works in order to create your own system? Get instant feedback to help create an in-depth and effective story.

    Google MD or Wikipedia can only tell you so much when it comes to the multi-layered and complicated world of medicine. Because of this, I am proud to announce I am partnering with PGY2 Resident of the Cleveland Clinic; Jeffrey Hsia M.D. Dr. Hsia is here to answer all your medical-related questions as a writing medical-consultant

  • Do you want to skip the line and get your story right now? I have limited options to help you get your finished story faster. The 3-week scheduling period can be shortened or you can bump your project up with an additional charge. These are stackable options.

    • Shorten your project window to 2-weeks for +50%.

    • Shorten your project window to 1-week for +75%.

    • Skip the line and get ahead of the waitlist for +50% (limited availability).

  • All stories come with two rounds of small revisions once the story is complete. These are revisions that do not alter the original word count.

    If you love your story and want more, we can schedule a new order to expand, continue, or add onto the story for more content!

    All prices will revert to the initial per 500-word charges.

Writing Assistant: Consultations, Tutoring, & Writing Advice Calls

The roots of my writing career began when I was a student at Hiram College (Class of 2019). As I studied my creative writing degree, I was a writing assistant under the Lindsay-Crane Center for Writing program.

As a Writing Assistant, I oversaw and tutored weekly workshops and assisted three first-year seminar classes.

  • I assisted students in a classroom setting, one-on-one, or in small groups to improve their writing and editing skills.

  • I worked to increase students’ understanding of grammar and punctuation.

  • I engaged with students in the classroom with prepared presentations to improve their voice and style, and maintained an active democratic setting.

Upon graduating, I was selected as the top student in arts and humanities upon graduation with the Yuksel Ismail award. I was also awarded a scholarship to be a teaching assistant for English and music in Poland, thanks to the incredible Kosciusko Foundation.

Types of Calls Available

While your call will be customized exactly as you need it to be, here are some examples to help you envision the different ways my call services can help you.

  • Let's discuss tips, tricks, and ways around writing! If you have a specific question or a topic you want to learn more about, let's chat! We can discuss your works, goals, struggles, and more.

  • Tutoring is an amazing service to zoom in on a specific area you might be struggling on (whether that be in writing or editing) and learning how to not only fix your mistakes but strengthen your skills as a writer over all. We can schedule one meeting at a time or sign up for reoccuring meetings!

  • Are you stuck on a plot hole in your story or you can't decide what your ending should be? If you need help with any part of your story, I'm here for the brainstorming process too!

  • Are you working on a big project and need someone to bounce ideas off of? I'm here to listen and provide you with tips, tricks, and resources to help streamline your planning process.

  • If you work better talking through edits and wish to go over your editing commission with me, we can add on a call. I'll show you my process and walk you through each suggestion I recommend. (This is an add-on to existing editing commissions.)

  • Your call can be an add-on service to any commission type, it can be used to go over, plan, and work on projects together as well. If you need advice or guidance on how to prepare your book for querying, to chat about marketing ideas, or just want to vent about the varied processes of writing--let's talk!

Availability

I am available to take voice calls on Zoom between 9AM to 5PM EST/EDT, Tuesday through Friday and 1 weekend a month.
